2007/10/10:2007伦敦-江苏省人才交流合作洽谈会2007年10月10日顺利举办。届时Brunel大学副校长Prof. Linda Thomas，中国驻英大使馆教育处王永达参赞，旅英工程师协会主席万海滨出席了此次洽谈会并致词。约250名人参加了此次洽谈会。新华网及"神州学人"等多家媒体竞相报道了此次活动。

The date of the 2007 London-Jiang Su Province Recruitment Fair has now been confirmed to beWednesday, 10 Oct,2007. Nearly 1000 job vacancies from all sectors will be available at this recruitment fair.
The detailed program is as follow:
10:30 - 11:00 Registration and coffee
11:00 - 12:30 Presentation, questions and answers
12:30 - 14:00 Networking
12:30 - 14:30 Lunch at More food hall
2007/8/28-重要通知:2007伦敦-江苏省人才交流合作洽谈会延期举行 。由于江苏省人才交流合作洽谈团队在申请签证过程中出现问题，故不能按时赴英举办2007伦敦-江苏省人才交流合作洽谈会。鉴于广大留学生，访问学者，以及国外友人对此次大会的热情与支持，大会组委会决定将此次2007伦敦-江苏省人才交流合作洽谈会延期至2007年9月下旬举办。具体时间另行通知。 2007/08/28 - IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are extremely disappointed to inform you that the JiangSu province recruitment fair (31-Aug-2007) now has to be postponed until the end of SEP-2007. This is because of an unexpected visa problem with the traveling group from JiangSu. Hence we cannot confirm on a new date until this issue has been completely resolved. Please re-visit our website in the near future where we shall publish the new date as soon as it becomes available. Anyone who has already registered, we shall contact you separately within the next 24 hours.

2007 London – JiangSu Province Recruitment Fair
Host: Department of Personnel JiangSu Co-host: Chinese Students Scholars Association (Brunel) – CSSA Brunel Assisting: The Association of Chinese Engineers in the UK Brunel International Brunel Careers Centre Time: Wednesday, Oct 10, 2007 (a buffet meal is provided afterwards) Location: Newton Room, Hamilton Building, Brunel University, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, UB8 3PH. JiangSu, situated at the centre of the eastern coast of China, stretches on both banks of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and boards the Yellow Sea in the east, covering a total area of 102,600 sq km. JiangSu has a long history of a relatively developed economy and culture. Rich in landscape gardens, scenic attractions and historical sites, it is noted for having the largest number of historical cities in China. Such cities include Nanjing, Suzhou, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Changshu, Xuzhou and Huai'an. It is very wealthy among the provinces of China, with the second highest total GDP (after Guangdong), its southern cities like Suzhou and Wuxi have GDP per capita around twice the provincial average, making south Jiangsu one of the most prosperous regions in China. Organised by the Department of Personnel, this is one of the largest recruitment party to come from a single region to date. As part of a European tour, we are proud to be hosting their first event at Brunel University – London.
