Photography competition
Photo Exhibition:
Photo
exhibition at the Bannerman Center - the 50 photos in the second
round of the competition were exhibited throughout the
One World
Week (Nov.20-24th).

We also
received many photos from participants who were willing to share
their photos and experience of China with us. We sincerely thank for
their participation and kind support!

Competition
Results:
Over one hundred photos have been received from our members and
their friends and families, and 50 photos have been selected by the
panel for the exhibition and final competition on November 9th.
Online voting started from 13th November and ended on 23rd of
November 2006. Including online votes and the votes from
the voting slips collected from Bannerman Center, over 200 people voted
for their favorite photos.
Photo No.27 and
No.28, provided by Miss.Jie Ma, have been voted as the top two most
favorite photos. Photo
No.31, provided by Dr. Xi Jiang, took the 3rd place in the
competition.

Call for
Participation:
The
Great Wall Society is organizing a photography competition, called
‘China through your eyes’ as part of One World Week. Staff and
students from Brunel University and their relatives are encouraged
to submit photographs relating to China or Chinese culture in some
way.
Photograph technical & basic
requirements:
Resolution: 1024 x 768 (Minimum)
File size: 500 Kbytes (Minimum), larger
files preferred
Submission:
Submission has been extended to
8:00AM, Nov. 8th 2006.
All photos for the competition MUST be
submitted before the deadline by email to
photo@cssabrunel.org.uk.
Copyright must be owned by entrant.
Schedule:
Please visit

from 10th November 2006, to view all
the photographs. These pictures will be judged by a professional
panel. 50 pictures will be selected for the exhibition and final
competition.
From 20th
to 25th
November 2006 the top 50 photos will be displayed in the Bannerman
Centre during One World Week.

pictures in one of the two ways:
