2006 Mid-Autumn Festival Party

On the evening of October 7th 2006, around 200 members of the Great Wall Society and their friends and family gathered at Brunel Graduate School to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival and welcome the freshers from China!

Mr. Zhongbo Yang from the Education Section of Chinese Embassy UK was invited to the party and gave a speech to the attendees. Traditional Chinese moon cakes, snacks and drinks were offered in the party. Around 50 people watched two Chinese movies, "Crazy Stone" and "The Banquet" in the lecture room , while many others were playing card games in the meeting room and chatting in the lobby. The party started from 6:30PM and ended happily at around midnight.

2006 Fresher's Fayre

90 new members joined the Great Wall Society at the 2006 Freshers' Fayre.
